The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वप्नसंकल्पपुरयोरेको गच्छति लक्षताम् ।
तथा चैकैव चित्स्वप्ने सेनात्वमुपगच्छति ॥ २३ ॥

svapnasaṃkalpapurayoreko gacchati lakṣatām |
tathā caikaiva citsvapne senātvamupagacchati || 23 ||

A visionary city in the dream and an imaginary castle of fancy, do both present the like ideal form to the mind; and yet both of them are composed of a train of ideas, which appear as real objects for the time being.
