The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विनेयपापमल्पं चेत्क्षेत्रधर्मोऽधिकस्ततः ।
तत्पापं नाशयित्वा तच्छब्द एव विवल्गति ॥ ५ ॥

vineyapāpamalpaṃ cetkṣetradharmo'dhikastataḥ |
tatpāpaṃ nāśayitvā tacchabda eva vivalgati || 5 ||

In any case of the insignificance of the sin, with regard to the greater sacerdotalism of the place; there the sinner is quite absolved from his guilt, and attains the object of his wish.
