The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
कथमेतद्वद ब्रह्मन्संपन्नं चिन्महानभः ।
कियत्प्रमाणमेतद्वा कियत्कालं च वा स्थितम् ॥ २१ ॥

kathametadvada brahmansaṃpannaṃ cinmahānabhaḥ |
kiyatpramāṇametadvā kiyatkālaṃ ca vā sthitam || 21 ||

Rama rejoined:—Tell me yet, O Venerable sir, how the great void of the intellect came to be produced from divine spirit; tell moreover its extent and duration in time and space.
