The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

काठिन्यवेदनादुर्वी गिरितामागतेव चित् ।
शून्यतावेदनाच्छून्यं वेत्ति व्योमेव चिद्वपुः ॥ १९ ॥

kāṭhinyavedanādurvī giritāmāgateva cit |
śūnyatāvedanācchūnyaṃ vetti vyomeva cidvapuḥ || 19 ||

The intellect has the notion of solidity, in the abstract in it; and thereby conceives itself in the forms of the earth, rocks and hills.
