The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.204.15

संविदेव किल व्योम तिष्ठति व्योमतामिता ।
दृषत्तयास्ते काठिन्याद्द्रवाज्जलमिव स्थिता ॥ १५ ॥

saṃvideva kila vyoma tiṣṭhati vyomatāmitā |
dṛṣattayāste kāṭhinyāddravājjalamiva sthitā || 15 ||

The mind is the evolution of the intellect, which reflects the images of things in the form of ideas upon the mind; hence the notions of time and space, and of air, water, hills and mountains, are all reflections of the intellect upon the mind.
