The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दिक्कालाद्यत्र चिद्भानं चिद्भानमचलादिकम् ।
चिज्जलादि तथा बोधाच्चित्खं वाय्वादि तद्विदः ॥ १५ ॥

dikkālādyatra cidbhānaṃ cidbhānamacalādikam |
cijjalādi tathā bodhāccitkhaṃ vāyvādi tadvidaḥ || 15 ||

The mind is the evolution of the intellect, which reflects the images of things in the form of ideas upon the mind; hence the notions of time and space, and of air, water, hills and mountains, are all reflections of the intellect upon the mind.
