The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तयैव कथया तेषां रामस्य च महामतेः ।
प्रबोधवशतः शीघ्रं सा व्यतीयाय शर्वरी ॥ ३९ ॥

tayaiva kathayā teṣāṃ rāmasya ca mahāmateḥ |
prabodhavaśataḥ śīghraṃ sā vyatīyāya śarvarī || 39 ||

After the performance of their vespers, the prince Rama and the people at large, passed their nights awake and fastly, with talking about and thinking upon the discourse of the day.
