The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तीक्ष्णतामाजगामाशु सर्वदिक्कमथातपः ।
पदार्थौघविकासार्थं रामस्येव महामतिः ॥ २ ॥

tīkṣṇatāmājagāmāśu sarvadikkamathātapaḥ |
padārthaughavikāsārthaṃ rāmasyeva mahāmatiḥ || 2 ||

The solar beams spread on all sides, with greater force and effulgence; as if to expose to clearer and greater light the sense of Rama's speech.
