The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथैव सर्वे राजानो विहरन्ति यथासुखम् ।
अप्रबुद्धाः प्रबुद्धाश्च राज्येषु बहुकर्मसु ॥ २६ ॥

yathaiva sarve rājāno viharanti yathāsukham |
aprabuddhāḥ prabuddhāśca rājyeṣu bahukarmasu || 26 ||

As these princes and rulers of people, live and enjoy themselves in their realms at pleasure; and whether they are enlightened or not, they are employed in their respective occupations.
