The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नोपदेशेन नार्थेन न शास्त्रैर्न च बन्धुभिः ।
त्यागेन च न चैतेषामधुना मम कारणम् ॥ १७ ॥

nopadeśena nārthena na śāstrairna ca bandhubhiḥ |
tyāgena ca na caiteṣāmadhunā mama kāraṇam || 17 ||

Now I am no more in need of admonition or instruction of the sastras, or of the acquisition of riches or friends; nor am I willing either to get rid of them at any time.
