The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवाल्मीकिरुवाच ।
इत्युक्तवति भूपाले रामः पुष्पाञ्जलिं ददत् ।
उवाच प्रणतो वाक्यं पुरस्तस्य महागुरोः ॥ ३८ ॥

śrīvālmīkiruvāca |
ityuktavati bhūpāle rāmaḥ puṣpāñjaliṃ dadat |
uvāca praṇato vākyaṃ purastasya mahāguroḥ || 38 ||

Valmiki relates said:—As the king was saying so, Rama rose from his seat, and threw handfuls of flowers on the sacred person of his preceptor; and then lowly bending himself before him, he addressed him as follows.
