The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.200.35

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
प्रणाममात्रसंतुष्टा ब्राह्मणा भूपते वयम् ।
प्रणामेनैव तुष्यामः स एव भवता कृतः ॥ ३५ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
praṇāmamātrasaṃtuṣṭā brāhmaṇā bhūpate vayam |
praṇāmenaiva tuṣyāmaḥ sa eva bhavatā kṛtaḥ || 35 ||

Vasishtha replied:—Know, O great king, that we Brahmans are pleased, only with the mere obeisances of people; we are verily satisfied with receiving reverence of men, and these you have already done and shown to me.
