The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जीवस्यास्मिन्विमूढस्य परेऽपरिमितोदये ।
प्रस्फुरंश्चापि संसारपिशाच उपशाम्यति ॥ ६ ॥

jīvasyāsminvimūḍhasya pare'parimitodaye |
prasphuraṃścāpi saṃsārapiśāca upaśāmyati || 6 ||

This world appearing so fair and perspicuous, to the sight of ignorant people; vanishes as a phantom into nothing, at the sight of the boundless glory of the transcendent God.
