The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहो नु सुचिरं कालं संभ्रान्ता वयमन्तरे ।
अपरिज्ञातमात्रेण संसारपरमाम्बरे ॥ १ ॥

aho nu suciraṃ kālaṃ saṃbhrāntā vayamantare |
aparijñātamātreṇa saṃsāraparamāmbare || 1 ||

Rama rejoined and said:—Alas! that I have so long strayed about, in the erroneous maze of the world; without the knowledge of its being a mere void and vacuum.
