The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इत्थंरूपमिदं भाति चितिरूपप्रभाप्रभा ।
पश्य सैवात्मनाऽऽस्ते यत्प्रकाशादिभिरेव च ॥ ५ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
itthaṃrūpamidaṃ bhāti citirūpaprabhāprabhā |
paśya saivātmanā''ste yatprakāśādibhireva ca || 5 ||

Vasishtha replied:—The world shines in this manner in the light of the Divine Intellect; and know this light to proceed from the Divine spirit, which is thus diffused all over the universe.
