The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
नानुभूतोऽनुभूतश्च चेतस्यर्थोऽवभासते ।
सर्गाद्यन्तादिमध्येषु स्वभ्यस्तस्त्विति भासते ॥ ८१ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
nānubhūto'nubhūtaśca cetasyartho'vabhāsate |
sargādyantādimadhyeṣu svabhyastastviti bhāsate || 81 ||

Vasishtha replied:—It is neither the notion nor idea of anything, that appears as a reality in our minds; but the inherent impression of the world in the soul, that exhibits it to us from first to last.
