The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.186.64

ब्रह्म वेत्ति यदात्मानं स ब्रह्मायं प्रजापतिः ।
स च नो ब्रह्मणो भिन्नं द्रवत्वमिव वारिणः ॥ ६४ ॥

brahma vetti yadātmānaṃ sa brahmāyaṃ prajāpatiḥ |
sa ca no brahmaṇo bhinnaṃ dravatvamiva vāriṇaḥ || 64 ||

Brahma the Lord of creation, knew the Supreme Soul in himself, and thereby he became the agent of the Divine will; therefore there is no difference between them (i.e. betwixt Brahma and Brahma); as there is none between the water and its fluidity.
