The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संकल्पनगरे बालः शिलाप्रोड्डयनं यथा ।
सत्यं वेत्त्यनुभूयाशु स्वविधेयनियन्त्रणम् ॥ ५६ ॥

saṃkalpanagare bālaḥ śilāproḍḍayanaṃ yathā |
satyaṃ vettyanubhūyāśu svavidheyaniyantraṇam || 56 ||

As a boy thinks of his flinging stones, at the aerial castle of his imagination; so the Divine will is at liberty to scatter, myriads of globular balls, in the open and empty space of boundless vacuity.
