The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यदेतदादित्यपथादूर्ध्वं संयाति वेदनम् ।
एतच्चित्तं भूतमेतदपर्यन्तामलाकृति ॥ ३३ ॥

yadetadādityapathādūrdhvaṃ saṃyāti vedanam |
etaccittaṃ bhūtametadaparyantāmalākṛti || 33 ||

The capacity that we have of knowing the regions beyond the solar sphere, and even of penetrating into the darkness of polar circles; is all the quality of our intellect, which extends all over the boundless space, and is perfectly pellucid in its form and nature.
