The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.186.10

यथा यत्र जगत्येतत्स्वयं ब्रह्म खमात्मनि ।
स्वरूपमजहच्छान्तं यत्र संपद्यते तथा ॥ १० ॥

yathā yatra jagatyetatsvayaṃ brahma khamātmani |
svarūpamajahacchāntaṃ yatra saṃpadyate tathā || 10 ||

The spirit is itself both the view and its viewer; it is equally the mind and the body, and the subjective and objective alike; It is something and yet nothing at all, being the great Brahma or universal soul, that includes and extends throughout the whole.
