The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आवां प्रदेशतस्तस्माच्चलित्वा मन्दमुत्सुकौ ।
दिनैः कतिपयैः प्राप्तौ गृहं मुदितबान्धवम् ॥ ३ ॥

āvāṃ pradeśatastasmāccalitvā mandamutsukau |
dinaiḥ katipayaiḥ prāptau gṛhaṃ muditabāndhavam || 3 ||

We then departed, from that place, with our broken hearts and dejected countenances; and were received after a few days journey, by our gladsome friends at home.
