The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रवहत्येव नियतिर्नियतार्थप्रदायिनी ।
स्थावरं जङ्गमं चैव तिष्ठत्येव यथाक्रमम् ॥ ३४ ॥

pravahatyeva niyatirniyatārthapradāyinī |
sthāvaraṃ jaṅgamaṃ caiva tiṣṭhatyeva yathākramam || 34 ||

There is one eternal destiny, which ever runs apace in its wonted course; and destines all beings to continue in their allotted careers as ever before.
