The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इति श्रुत्वा प्रविष्टास्ते सारतां समवेक्षितुम् ।
वराणां हृदयं शापाः शापानां हृदयं वराः ॥ २६ ॥

iti śrutvā praviṣṭāste sāratāṃ samavekṣitum |
varāṇāṃ hṛdayaṃ śāpāḥ śāpānāṃ hṛdayaṃ varāḥ || 26 ||

Upon hearing this from the mouth of the great god, they both entered in their turn into the heart of one another, in order to sound their understandings, and descry their respective parts.
