The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पितामहपुरीं गत्वा कलहान्ते विनिर्णयः ।
कर्तव्योऽस्माभिरेतत्किमादौ नेह विधीयते ॥ २१ ॥

pitāmahapurīṃ gatvā kalahānte vinirṇayaḥ |
kartavyo'smābhiretatkimādau neha vidhīyate || 21 ||

We must have recourse to the father of the gods, for his favourable decision of the case, is it not therefore better for us to do even now what must come to be finally determined by him.
