The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततस्तेऽष्टौ मरिष्यन्ति भ्रातरः क्रमशो गृहे ।
बन्धवोऽथ करिष्यन्ति तेषां देहांस्तदग्निसात् ॥ ८ ॥

tataste'ṣṭau mariṣyanti bhrātaraḥ kramaśo gṛhe |
bandhavo'tha kariṣyanti teṣāṃ dehāṃstadagnisāt || 8 ||

These eight brothers also, having joined with their families at home: will breathe their last in course of time; and have their bodies burnt by their friends and relations.
