The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तप्यतां तप एतेषां पितरौ तौ वधूयुतौ ।
तीर्थमुन्याश्रमश्रेणीं द्रष्टुं दुःखान्वितौ गतौ ॥ ४४ ॥

tapyatāṃ tapa eteṣāṃ pitarau tau vadhūyutau |
tīrthamunyāśramaśreṇīṃ draṣṭuṃ duḥkhānvitau gatau || 44 ||

It was at the time when the brothers were employed in their devotion, that their parents had gone out with their wives in search of them, and were wandering about the hermitages of saints, with their sorrowful hearts.
