The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.182.28

अस्त्येतेषां किलाष्टानां भार्याष्टकमनिन्दितम् ।
दिगन्तराणां नियतं ताराष्टकमिवोज्ज्वलम् ॥ २८ ॥

astyeteṣāṃ kilāṣṭānāṃ bhāryāṣṭakamaninditam |
digantarāṇāṃ niyataṃ tārāṣṭakamivojjvalam || 28 ||

Every one of these eight persons had each a wife at home, who were of unblemished character and persons withal; and resembled the eight stars or planets of heavens, in the brightness of their bodies.
