The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तथाहं पुरतस्तस्य काष्ठमौनवतोऽवसम् ।
षण्मासान्विगतोद्वेगं वेगान्कालकृतान्सहन् ॥ ३० ॥

tathāhaṃ puratastasya kāṣṭhamaunavato'vasam |
ṣaṇmāsānvigatodvegaṃ vegānkālakṛtānsahan || 30 ||

I too continued to stay before him, as quiet and quiescent as a block of wood, and endured without shrinking the rigours of the climate and seasons, for full six months at that spot.
