The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्रष्टा दृश्यं दर्शनं च चिद्भानं परमार्थखम् ।
शून्यस्वप्न इवाभाति चिद्व्योमैकमतो जगत् ॥ १८ ॥

draṣṭā dṛśyaṃ darśanaṃ ca cidbhānaṃ paramārthakham |
śūnyasvapna ivābhāti cidvyomaikamato jagat || 18 ||

The noumenon and the phenomenon, are both the one and same state of the Intellect; being the subjectivity of its vacuous self, and the objectivity of its own intellections and reveries; Therefore this world appears as a protracted dream, in the hollow cavity of the sleeping mind.
