The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकः सहस्रं भवति यथा ह्येते किलैन्दवाः ।
प्रयाता भूतलक्षत्वं संकल्पजगतां गणैः ॥ १२ ॥

ekaḥ sahasraṃ bhavati yathā hyete kilaindavāḥ |
prayātā bhūtalakṣatvaṃ saṃkalpajagatāṃ gaṇaiḥ || 12 ||

As each of the Aindavas, thought himself to have become a hundred in his imagination; so every one of these imaginary worlds, teemed with millions of beings—the mere creatures of our fancy.
