न कारणं विना कार्यं भवतीत्युपपद्यते ।
यद्यथा येन निर्णीतं तत्तथा तेन लक्ष्यते ॥ ८ ॥

na kāraṇaṃ vinā kāryaṃ bhavatītyupapadyate |
yadyathā yena nirṇītaṃ tattathā tena lakṣyate || 8 ||

It is true that nothing can come out from nothing, or without its cause; but what can be the cause of what is eternally destined or ordained in the eternal mind.
