The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथैतद्धारणाबद्धचित्तास्ते तावदच्युताः ।
आसन्मासान्दशाष्टौ च यावत्ते तत्र देहकाः ॥ ३७ ॥

athaitaddhāraṇābaddhacittāste tāvadacyutāḥ |
āsanmāsāndaśāṣṭau ca yāvatte tatra dehakāḥ || 37 ||

With this belief they remained fixed and steady at the same spot, and many a month and year glided over their heads and motionless bodies.
