The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.177.38

सर्गप्रलयसंस्थानान्येवमात्मनि चिद्धने ।
सौम्ये स्वप्नसुषुप्ताभा शुद्धे निद्राघने यथा ॥ ३८ ॥

sargapralayasaṃsthānānyevamātmani ciddhane |
saumye svapnasuṣuptābhā śuddhe nidrāghane yathā || 38 ||

This creation and its destruction also, both abide side by side in the dense intellect of the Divine Soul; as the thickening dreams and sound sleep, both reside together in the calm sleeping state of our soul.
