The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.177.30

तस्मादकारणा भ्रान्तिर्भावा भान्ति च कारणम् ।
अज्ञे ज्ञे त्वखिलं कार्यं कारणाद्भवति स्थितम् ॥ ३० ॥

tasmādakāraṇā bhrāntirbhāvā bhānti ca kāraṇam |
ajñe jñe tvakhilaṃ kāryaṃ kāraṇādbhavati sthitam || 30 ||

Therefore all things appear as causeless illusions to the ignorant, and their true cause to be a mystery to them; while they are known to the intelligent as the wondrous display of the Divine Intellect, that shows everything in itself.
