The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तद्यथास्थितमेवेदं विद्धि शान्तमशेषतः ।
अजातमजरं व्योम सौम्यं समसमं जगत् ॥ ३४ ॥

tadyathāsthitamevedaṃ viddhi śāntamaśeṣataḥ |
ajātamajaraṃ vyoma saumyaṃ samasamaṃ jagat || 34 ||

Know therefore this world, to be as calm and quiet as the Divine soul; and that it is of the nature of the uncreated vacuum, which is ever the same and no decay.
