The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विराडात्मैवमाकाशं भाति चिन्मयमाततम् ।
स्वभावस्वप्ननगरं नगनागमयात्मकम् ॥ ३२ ॥

virāḍātmaivamākāśaṃ bhāti cinmayamātatam |
svabhāvasvapnanagaraṃ naganāgamayātmakam || 32 ||

Virat is verily an aeriform being in himself, and appears to be as wide extended as the vast extent of the universe; and is in his own nature, like a city or mountain, that we see in our dreams.
