The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथा तरङ्गस्तेनैव रूपेणान्येन वाऽनिशम् ।
स्फुरत्येवमनाद्यन्तः सर्गप्रलयविभ्रमः ॥ २५ ॥

yathā taraṅgastenaiva rūpeṇānyena vā'niśam |
sphuratyevamanādyantaḥ sargapralayavibhramaḥ || 25 ||

As a wave assumes one form or other, and rolls on interminably over the vast expanse of the sea; so runs the heavenly mind, in the forms of the revolving creations and their dissolutions.
