The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चेतनाचेतनात्मैकं तथा सर्वात्मनो वपुः ।
जङ्गमं स्थावरमयं किंतु नित्यमनाकृति ॥ ११ ॥

cetanācetanātmaikaṃ tathā sarvātmano vapuḥ |
jaṅgamaṃ sthāvaramayaṃ kiṃtu nityamanākṛti || 11 ||

The sensible as well as the insensible, are both embodied in the person of the universal soul; which is possessed of both the movables and immovables in itself, although it is formless in its substance.
