The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.172.32

यावद्दृश्यं स्मृतिश्चैव संस्मृतिश्चास्य शाम्यति ।
अविद्यायास्तु मौर्ख्यस्य विमोहस्यात्यसंभवात् ॥ ३२ ॥

yāvaddṛśyaṃ smṛtiścaiva saṃsmṛtiścāsya śāmyati |
avidyāyāstu maurkhyasya vimohasyātyasaṃbhavāt || 32 ||

Until there is an end of the sight of the visibles, and an oblivion of the remembrance of past events; and a cessation of avidya, ignorance and delusion, it is hard to be attained.
