The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जडानामजडानां यः सर्वार्थानामनारतम् ।
दुर्लक्ष्यपरिणामोऽन्तर्मनोबुद्ध्यादिवर्जितः ॥ ४५ ॥

jaḍānāmajaḍānāṃ yaḥ sarvārthānāmanāratam |
durlakṣyapariṇāmo'ntarmanobuddhyādivarjitaḥ || 45 ||

The Lord is inscrutable amidst the living brute and all inert creation; nor can we come to any conclusion, in respect to the nature of that Being, who is beyond the knowledge, of our mind and understanding.
