The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
कलत्रमस्य मित्रस्य तदीयस्य मुनीश्वर ।
किं तत्किंरूपमेव स्यात्समासेनेव मे वद ॥ २१ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
kalatramasya mitrasya tadīyasya munīśvara |
kiṃ tatkiṃrūpameva syātsamāseneva me vada || 21 ||

Rama rejoined:—Tell me Sir, in short, who are his wives and children and his friends also; what are their different forms, and what are the qualities and virtues they are respectively possessed of.
