The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ईदृशेनात्ममित्रेण स कलत्रेण संयुतः ।
स्वकर्मनाम्ना रमते स्वभावेनैव नेरितः ॥ २० ॥

īdṛśenātmamitreṇa sa kalatreṇa saṃyutaḥ |
svakarmanāmnā ramate svabhāvenaiva neritaḥ || 20 ||

In this manner he passes his time, in company with his friends and family; he is content with his own state, and glad at what fortune has provided for him.
