लालनैकरतं नित्ये पालनैकपरायणम् ।
सर्वसंकटसंघट्टरक्षणैकसमुद्यतम् ॥ ८ ॥

lālanaikarataṃ nitye pālanaikaparāyaṇam |
sarvasaṃkaṭasaṃghaṭṭarakṣaṇaikasamudyatam || 8 ||

It supports a man as the father feeds and fondles his child, and protects him from every accident, as the father is ever ready to shield his children from all harm.
