The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्व स्मृतिः क्व च वा स्वप्नः क्व कालाः कलनाश्च काः ।
चिदाभानमिदं भाति शान्तं शून्यमिवाम्बरे ॥ ५३ ॥

kva smṛtiḥ kva ca vā svapnaḥ kva kālāḥ kalanāśca kāḥ |
cidābhānamidaṃ bhāti śāntaṃ śūnyamivāmbare || 53 ||

What is the remembrance of a thing, any more than the dream of something, which is nothing in reality; and what is time of which we have no conception, except it be an imagination or devise of the mind in empty air.
