The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आकाश एव पृथ्वीयमिति धत्ते स्वसंविदम् ।
मनोराज्यपुरं बाल इव चिन्मात्रमव्ययम् ॥ ३८ ॥

ākāśa eva pṛthvīyamiti dhatte svasaṃvidam |
manorājyapuraṃ bāla iva cinmātramavyayam || 38 ||

The unchanging and undecaying intellect, bears to itself the form of air only; which it conceives by mistake as the stable earth; just as imaginary men believe the air built castle to a reality.
