The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.166.27

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
मया राघव ता दृष्टास्तादृश्यस्तत्र लेखिकाः ।
तवापीच्छा यदि भवेत्तत्तास्त्वमपि पश्यसि ॥ २७ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
mayā rāghava tā dṛṣṭāstādṛśyastatra lekhikāḥ |
tavāpīcchā yadi bhavettattāstvamapi paśyasi || 27 ||

Vasishtha replied:—It is I, O Rama, that beheld those marks of different forms in that impenetrable block; and it is possible for you to look into it, if you will but like to do so.
