The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.166.17

लेखामयानि विद्यन्ते स्वाङ्गभूतानि भूरिशः ।
पद्मजालानि शङ्खाश्च गदाश्चक्रादयस्तथा ॥ १७ ॥

lekhāmayāni vidyante svāṅgabhūtāni bhūriśaḥ |
padmajālāni śaṅkhāśca gadāścakrādayastathā || 17 ||

Yet it is composed of innumerable streaks and strokes, which are embodied in itself; and these resemble the veins and fibres on lotus leaves, and the marks of conches etc. in Hari's feet.
