The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आत्मख्यातिपदस्यार्थ आत्मख्यातिपदोज्झितः ।
अनाद्यन्तो निरुल्लेखः सोऽयमेकघनः स्थितः ॥ १० ॥

ātmakhyātipadasyārtha ātmakhyātipadojjhitaḥ |
anādyanto nirullekhaḥ so'yamekaghanaḥ sthitaḥ || 10 ||

The word itself conveys the meaning of self said:—soul. It is without beginning and end, and no language can express it; in fact, it is an undivided whole.
