The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इदं बहूक्तमेतेन किमेतेनेति दुर्मतिः ।
न ग्राह्यैतावताप्युक्ते नादत्ते नेदमज्ञधीः ॥ ४७ ॥

idaṃ bahūktametena kimeteneti durmatiḥ |
na grāhyaitāvatāpyukte nādatte nedamajñadhīḥ || 47 ||

Thus have I said at length, to impress in you the necessity of intense devotion; but to what good is all this say the evil-minded to me, and thus slight and take no heed of all that I have been so long delivering unto you.
