चिन्मात्रं पुरुषं विद्धि चेतनाज्जीवनामकम् ।
यच्चेतति स जीवोऽन्तस्तन्मयो भवति क्षणात् ॥ ४ ॥

cinmātraṃ puruṣaṃ viddhi cetanājjīvanāmakam |
yaccetati sa jīvo'ntastanmayo bhavati kṣaṇāt || 4 ||

Know the intellect as the man that mans you, and its power of intellection which makes you a living man; and whatever the living soul thinks of within itself, it verily becomes the very same.
